Welcome to Chinchilla Primary State School’s
Tuckshop. We are happy to be able to offer you a menu of healthy nutritious
foods, which meet the Queensland Smart Choices guidelines together with a
variety of special treats. Our menu now also includes a variety of homestyle options
that are prepared on site.
The Chinchilla State School tuckshop operates three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) by a paid Convenor and parent volunteers. The Convenor oversees the operation of the tuckshop and is required to report to the P&C Association and the School Principal.
Our Tuckshop relies on our wonderful volunteers and we always need more. So if you can spare any time at all; one day a week, One day a fortnight or even only once a month, please contact our tuckshop convenor or leave your name and number with the school office.

Ordering
Our tuckshop
works on a bag system but now also offers the convenience of ordering online
through Flexi schools. Please use a separate
paper bag for each break, clearly labelled with your
child’s name, class, 1st break or 2nd break, along with
items to be ordered. Orders should be placed in classroom baskets no later than
9.00am. Correct money is helpful and eliminates change being lost.

Orders
for both breaks are sent to classes in class basket. For items such as ice
blocks, students in grades 3-6 are required to bring their lunch bag back to
the tuckshop at the appropriate break to collect these items. Year Prep-2 all
items are sent out with class baskets
